Residents Association Voting 2022
With the declaration of COVID-19 as a pandemic, I put my efforts to prevent the spreading of the new virus strain. Thus, I feel that online voting is the best way to protect our local community at this present time. I also acknowledge that not everyone within Strawberry Fields maybe internet ready or on social media. Your help to spread the word about this vote amongst SF residents is vital. Those wishing to post a response can do at 31 Firecracker Drive; all postal votes will be subject to a quarantine period of seven days. The closing date is February 28th. Regards, Paul

Dear all,
Following on from a post many
months back about our NHW status whereby our scheme had
been approved by Hampshire Constabulary, I am delighted
to share with you the next phase of this approval.
Today I received our official
welcome pack along with leaflets containing valuable
information pertaining to property security and that of
our local community.
There are also twenty official NHW
window stickers up for grabs if you sign up to our
scheme, either via the our Facebook page where you will
find a signup button or via
https://www.ourwatch.org.uk/ simply add your
postcode and search for Strawberry Fields.
I hope to apply for more of these
stickers once the demand is there, so if you miss out
this time please rest assured I am on the case for
obtaining more.
- Residents must live within the
Taylor Wimpey – Bovis Homes development referred to as
Strawberry Fields.

our scheme via links provided and approved by myself.
- One sticker per household or
block of flats.

The Big Lunch is a very simple idea from the Eden Project. The aim is to get as many people as possible across the whole of the UK to have lunch with their neighbours in a simple act of community, friendship and fun. Last year it happened on Sunday 3rd June and a record number of people took take part in the Jubilee celebrations. Why not be one of them this year?
A Big Lunch can be anything from a few neighbours getting together in the garden or on the street, to a full blown party with food, music and decoration that quite literally stops the traffic.
Since starting in 2009, thousands of Big Lunches have taken place in all kinds of communities across the UK and the best part of a million people get involved each year.
This year we celebrated our 2nd Big Lunch on Sunday 3rd June from 1pm-5pm.
Lets you know what is happening in your community keeping you informed 24/7. We ask that you sign up and request access to the Strawberry_Fields Scheme to enable us to grow.
Neighbourhood Watch schemes play a vital part in preventing crime, and statistics show that you are less likely to be burgled if you belong to an active Home Watch scheme. You may also receive a reduction in the cost of your house insurance.
By joining your local Neighbourhood Watch scheme you
can feel more secure knowing that you and your
neighbours are keeping an eye on each other’s property.
Getting together with your neighbours can prevent crime
and well-run schemes have a big impact on reducing the
opportunities for crime.
Home Watch can play a big part in reassuring those who
live in fear of crime.
Home Watch can rekindle community spirit and is a great
way to get to know your neighbours.
As the scheme attracts more members, a request for NHW signs will be submitted to Fareham Council. The scheme coordinator will also seek a deputy as per the guidelines set out for NHW schemes. If you are interested please use the social media links below to get in touch.
